| 1 | The seasonal flu vaccine will not protect against Pandemic H1N1 flu. |
| 2 | Most people who get the Pandemic H1N1 virus will experience mild to moderate symptoms and will make a full recovery without needing medical attention. |
| 3 | Pandemic H1N1 flu, formerly known as "Swine Flu," is not spread from pigs to humans and you cannot get it from eating pork. |
| 4 | Because the 2009 Pandemic H1N1 flu is a new virus, most people have little or no immunity, meaning our bodies are not prepared to fight it. |
| 5 | You cannot contract the flu from being vaccinated. |

All Local Health Departments in Utah are offering the H1N1 flu vaccine to everyone. Utahns are encouraged to take advantage of the vaccine's availability and to get vaccinated. Use the Vaccination Locator to find a clinic or health care facility in your area.
